When in Tahquamenon, the top three local destinations that tourists visit are the Tahquamenon Falls State Park, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and the Whitefish Point Bird Observatory. The narrow Whitefish Point peninsula is only around 17 miles from the Canadian coast.
If you’re looking for delicious food near the accommodations, you won’t need to go far. Just a quarter mile north you’ll find the Berry Patch Restaurant, which offers a wide selection of classic American comfort food and delicious pastries. They also sell various kinds of gift items you can bring with you as souvenirs. Their old-fashioned bakery churns out pies, muffins, rolls and cookies of all kinds and their cinnamon rolls are a must try. The Suites
The rooms that are available here are not your average hotel room. Guests can enjoy reasonably priced amenities that deliver great value for money. The lodge’s standard suites can accommodate four guests with rates @ $109 per night plus tax. There is also one XL suite that can accommodate up to eight guests @ $149 per night plus taxes. Discounts are offered for stays of two nights or more and for real estate clients.
