Maple Sugaring Day–Ever wondered how the maple syrup you like to pour on your pancakes is made? Paradise’s Maple Sugaring Day invites everyone to partake in the process that turns maple sap into the glorious, golden syrup we all know and love. From traditional maple sugaring methods to taste testing activities, Maple Sugaring Day will definitely tickle your taste buds.Held at the Tahquamenon Falls State Park, typically in March.

Spring Fling–Spend a fun-filled weekend at Whitefish Point to witness the spectacular spring migration. Birdwatchers, outdoor lovers, and wildlife enthusiasts will surely enjoy Spring Fling’s lineup of activities such as field trips and other special events. This annual event is usually held in April.

Whitefish Point Marathon – Race along the shores of majestic Whitefish Bay,goacross the Betsy River and breeze by the Whitefish Point Light Station in this exciting race that will test your endurance and immerse you in the beauty of the region. Tahquamenon Trail Run –Test your endurance and speed in this challenging trail run that winds along the great North Country Trail. Choose from a variety of distances, 2k (for kids) to an impressive 25k. The Tahquamenon Trail Run is part of the Great Lakes Endurance series.

Wild Blueberry Festival – One of Paradise’s most-awaited events, the Wild Blueberry Festival takes place every third weekend of August. A music festival, arts and crafts fair, and more await you in this celebration of Paradise’s heritage.
